The electric Oxford® Major 200 Mobile Hoist is built with a lightweight construction for easy manoeuvrability and is suitable for most lifting requirements in care environments.
With its high maximum lifting capacity of 200kg (31 stone), this hoist reduces strain on carers and facilitates comfortable transfers for many patients with reduced standing ability, with SmartTM Monitor diagnostic and service controls as standard.
Featuring a foot pedal leg opening mechanism with latch/lock functionality and high-grade Tente castors for easy manoeuvrability, the battery pack is also detachable for ease, with a desktop charger.
With a choice of three spreader bar sizes and in either an electric or hydraulic version, there is also an electric leg option available and an optional Class III digital weigh-scale.

Before its first use the hoist must be assembled and commissioned by a ‘competent person’, to establish the assembly was correct and safe. All patient lifting equipment needs to be LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) tested every 6 months.
